John Gray is Experian’s president of Automotive, responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of the business, which is dedicated to helping manufacturers, dealers, finance, insurance and aftermarket companies better understand the market, the vehicles and the people who buy them. Prior to his appointment as President, Gray served as Senior Vice President of Experian Automotive. In that role, he was responsible for leading and expanding the business’s North American sales and marketing organizations, developing new channels and delivering world-class service to its clients. Before joining Experian in 2006, Gray was General Manager of Siebel’s Complex Manufacturing and Automotive vertical divisions, providing business software and services to the automotive, aerospace, and defense and industrial manufacturing industries. He also held management and business development positions of increasing responsibility with top information and telecommunications businesses, including APAC Customer Services, Automatic Data Processing Inc., AT&T Global Information Solutions and NCR Corporation. Gray holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dayton in Ohio and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
