Our Commitment
Our deep commitment to social and financial inclusion is entrenched in our workplace culture, our partnerships and our continuing endeavors to promote economic opportunity for all
The presence of differences that may include thought, style, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, race, ethnicity, dis(ability), culture and experience.
Promoting justice, impartiality and fairness within the procedures, processes and distribution of resources by institutions or systems.
An outcome to ensure those who self-identify as diverse feel welcome and actually are welcomed. You meet your inclusion outcomes when you, your institution, and your programs are truly inviting to all.
A sense of fitting in or feeling like you’re an important member of a group where you can achieve your professional goals and your voice is heard.
We deliver products and services to help over 130 million individuals better manage their finances. We also use our tech expertise to remove bias and discrimination in machine learning systems, pioneering technology for greater financial equity. We have a focused umbrella of products and services dedicated to helping clients improve their diversity and inclusion efforts called Inclusion Forward — Experian Empowering Opportunities™.
We strive to foster a culture of inclusion so that all employees feel Experian is a great place to work, where everyone feels free to express their views and bring their whole selves to work. Managers help employees celebrate and express their unique identities through workplace engagement opportunities, professional development and community outreach.
Through financial education and collaboration with partner organizations, we work to provide financial empowerment, helping reduce the global wealth gap within underserved communities and the financially vulnerable. We also focus on supplier diversity by increasing our spend with vendors from diverse backgrounds and setting diverse spend expectations with our largest suppliers. And we monetarily match our colleagues’ volunteer time because we actively support the communities in which we live, work and serve.
To progress in creating a better tomorrow, we must ensure our global DEIB strategy connects with, and supports, the needs of the regions where we do business.
Employee resource groups (ERGs) support and affirm the unique experiences and identities of our employees. ERGs provide opportunities to observe, learn, participate and celebrate each other’s backgrounds and give back in numerous ways.
Investing in our people is key to our success. We launched our Career Hub in February 2022 alongside Be World Ready, our Experian-wide Careers Week. The week was a combination of global and regional career and learning content aimed to help our colleagues grow their careers within Experian and proactively staying up to date with the changing market.
We focus on attracting diverse talent and invest in their success. We actively work on improving representation at all levels. High-performing talent with diverse backgrounds are developed through leadership programs like Experian Business Network and CEO Forum. These programs provide direct experience and learning opportunities to help advance a career with us.
